Channel Letters vs. Cabinet Signs

Channel letters are individually fabricated 3D letters mounted directly to your facade. They read as premium, modern, and are the default for national brands. Cabinet signs are a single illuminated box with your graphics printed on a translucent face — cheaper to build and easier to change.

If your lease is long-term and your brand is set, channel letters almost always win on curb appeal and longevity. If you rotate branding or need to fit within tight landlord sign criteria, a cabinet sign is often the smarter call.

Budget-wise, expect channel letters to run 1.5–2× a comparably sized cabinet. Both carry the same LED warranties when we build them.
